A pheromone virus drives every Alpha in the city feral, and Cynthia, the only immune Omega, is imprisoned as a living antidote. When rebels break into the base, five of the strongest infected Alphas enter her cell to seize control. Cynthia triggers the facility's self-destruct sequence and forces the dying men into a soul-blood pact, becoming their shared master. She leads Rex, Kane, Zac, Logan, and Samuel back into the base to take revenge on her captors and establishes a new order in the ruined city under rules of her own making.
